SAXON MATH CURRICULUM
The Saxon curriculum provides the following:

As students begin grade two, they are expected to know their addition (0-18) and subtraction facts (through 10). The first & second quarters will be spent on increasing basic math fact fluency. At the beginning of second semester, students should be able to successfully complete 100 problems of each (addition & subtraction) in 5 minutes or less. The second half of the year the focus changes to multiplication (0-12). In 3rd grade students will be expected to correctly complete fluency assessments of 100 multiplication problems in 5 minutes or less.
